Sarah Bradford is the mama to her almost 3 year-old son Lenox, and the Founder & Creator of The LUNA Method™. Sarah became inspired to create The LUNA Method™ after realizing during her own pregnancy & postpartum experience that there was a serious lack of resources for women wanting to stay active during this time. After finally conceiving her son through in-vitro fertilization, Sarah wanted to be sure that any exercise she was doing was safe. She quickly found that aside from physical therapy and yoga, there were no other resources within her community that provided expert knowledge and guidance around a safe, supportive and beneficial form of fitness for pregnancy and post birth. After her son was born, even her medical team wasn’t having open conversations with her around Diastasis Recti and pelvic floor dysfunction. She wanted answers and wasn’t finding them in her community. Navigating this on her own and working to heal her Diastasis Recti while getting back to fitness post-birth led Sarah down the path of becoming that very resource for other women, and The LUNA Method was born. Sarah is a Certified Personal Trainer, Pre & Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist, Diastasis Recti & Core Rehabilitation Specialist, & a Holistic Nutrition Counselor. She now spends her days helping women navigate their own fitness + wellness through all stages of motherhood both in her studio located in San Rafael, California and online through distance coaching with women all over the world.
Sarah is generous enough to share with us her personal experience of going through IVF and how she used exercise to get her through, and how she used that knowledge to help other women going through the same journey.
