Basics of Reading Research with physiotherapist Dr. Sandy Hilton

Dr. Sandy Hilton is baaaccck! Again!
If you have not heard of her before, go back to episodes 4, 19, 25 and I am sure I am missing some. She has discussed pelvic pain, men's health, transgender health and much more. Her business partner, Sarah Haag, was not with us in this episode but graces us with her appearance in some other older episodes.
Sandy co-hosts her own podcast, Pain Science & Sensibility, where they pick apart research in the world of pain and give practical tips on what to do with you find in the paper. She also hosts professional education with Sarah Haag within their business Entropy Physiotherapy and Wellness. Recently they hosted Dr. Neill O'Connel and Dr. Steve Kamper in "Better information for better care. Using evidence to inform practice" where they explain in depth the basics of what we discuss today. AND they even recorded it so you can access this entire course (or parts of) ONLINE! CLICK HERE TO ACCESS. No cut for me, just excited to take this course myself and so happy they did it.
So who better to teach us exactly how we should be reading research, where to find it, and what to do with it. Bottom line, we can't skip sections (like that stats) and what we read is not always what we think (people can deceive).
So sit back and learn how to become an even bigger nerd.
Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast so you don't miss an episode and leave a review in iTunes (via searching for the podcast in the search section on the Podcast app on iTunes...they don't make it easy :)). You giving a review helps this podcast to reach out to more people!
The episdoes will be available in iTunes, Stitcher and Soundcloud.
